Central Memorial Missionary Baptist Church is a nonprofit religious organization recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are grateful for your generosity and support of our ministry.

This Donation Policy outlines the terms governing contributions made through our website and digital platforms.

1. Voluntary Contributions

All donations, tithes, and offerings made to Central Memorial Missionary Baptist Church are voluntary gifts intended to support the church’s ministries, outreach efforts, and operational needs.

By submitting a donation, you confirm that your contribution is made voluntarily and without expectation of goods or services unless explicitly stated.

2. Payment Processing

Online donations are processed securely through Stripe, a trusted third-party payment provider.

Central Memorial does not store full credit card numbers or sensitive payment information on its servers. All transactions are encrypted and handled according to industry security standards.

By completing a donation, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

3. Refund Policy for Donations

All donations are generally non-refundable.

If you believe a donation was made in error, including incorrect amount or duplicate transaction, you must notify us within 7 days of the transaction date by contacting [email protected].

Refund requests submitted within 7 days will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Requests submitted after 7 days from the transaction date may not be eligible for refund except as required by law.

4. Recurring Donations

If you enroll in recurring giving, you authorize automatic charges according to the selected schedule.

You may modify or cancel your recurring donation at any time through your donor account or by contacting the church before the next scheduled charge date.

5. Designated Gifts

Donors may designate contributions for specific ministries or funds where available.

Central Memorial will make reasonable efforts to honor donor designations. If a designated fund is discontinued or exceeds its need, the church reserves the right to allocate funds to a similar ministry purpose consistent with its mission.

6. Tax Receipts

Donation receipts may be issued electronically or by mail for tax reporting purposes.

It is the donor’s responsibility to retain receipts for tax documentation. Central Memorial does not provide tax or legal advice.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

When you make a donation, we collect necessary personal information including your name, contact information, and payment details.

This information is used solely for:

• Processing donations
• Issuing receipts
• Maintaining financial records
• Legal and regulatory compliance

We do not sell, rent, or share donor information for marketing purposes.

Mobile information and SMS consent data will not be shared with third parties.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

If a chargeback is initiated without first contacting the church, Central Memorial reserves the right to dispute the chargeback using transaction documentation and donor authorization records.

Online donations are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By submitting a donation, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
